Andy Goode will make his first Aviva Premiership start for Newcastle Falcons this weekend as the team head to the Ricoh Arena to face Wasps at the half-way stage of the campaign.

His promotion from the bench to the starting XV is the only change to the team that started at Kingston Park last Sunday.

Wasps coach Dai Young has named a strong team for the visit of Falcons, with Christian Wade making a return from injury, and Siale Piutau - brother of full-back Charles - named on the replacements bench.

Wasps are looking to build on their impressive win over Saints at Franklin's Gardens last weekend.

"Last week, the squad produced a great performance against Northampton Saints, but we know we need to back it up this weekend or that win won't count for anything," said Young.

"We are working hard to produce consistency in our performances to build momentum.

Sale coach Steve Diamond has named the same 23 that defeated London Irish but made three changes to his starting XV, with Ross Harrison, Vadim Cobilas and Cameron Neild coming into the side, and Eifion Lewis-Roberts, Brian Mujati and David Seymour moving to the bench.
