The Sale fly-half looks to the team playing better rugby
Sale fly-half Danny Cipriani believes that the entire team needs to improve, following the criticism of his debut performance.
The Sharks were beaten 23-16 by Saracens in the second round of matches in the new Aviva Premiership campaign last weekend.
Cipriani was put in the shade by former Sale No.10 Charlie Hodgson who kicked six goals for Sarries as the hosts lost the first competitive game in their new Salford City Stadium.
However, Cipriani is confident both he and the new-look Sale team will improve as the season progresses.
Top four aim
The 24-year-old said: "It's just down to me to do the best I can for Sale and like I said all along hopefully we can get Sale into that top four by the end of the season - playing better rugby, scoring more tries.
"Then you'll see the whole squad being put up there and hopefully more international honours for everyone."
He added: "That is the main aim for the whole squad, to make sure as a team we are doing well so it's not really ever about one player."
