Stade Francais playmaker Felipe Contepomi has been named Argentina's captain for Saturday's Test against Italy in San Juan. Contepomi, who is believed to be set to retire after the June Tests, will lead out an inexperienced Pumas line-up - with the majority of European-based players rested ahead of the Rugby Championship campaign. Exeter Chief fly-half Ignacio Mieres, Edinburgh lock Esteban Lozada and former Sale full-back Joaquin Tuculet are among those to get their chances, though, alongside a number of home-based players. There is also a call-up for Rodrigo Roncero, who like Contepomi appears set to hang up his boots..
