Rodriguez to replace Amorosino

Argentina have made just the one change for Saturday's return fixture against South Africa in the Rugby Championship. The Pumas suffered a 27-6 defeat to the Springboks in their historic appearance in the competition. But despite the defeat coach Santiago Phelan has refused to panic - with the only switch to his starting XV seeing Martin Rodriguez replace Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino at full-back. And Phelan will be hoping for an improved performance at the Malvinas Argentinas Stadium. "One of the aspects in which we failed to dominate against South Africa was field position; they were very good at leaving their half," he said. "We also gave away too many penalties, especially in the first half, which forced us into losing our grip on the game." Phelan will finalise his bench on Thursday, with Marcos Ayerza, Martin Bustos Moyano, Amorosino, Juan Imhoff, Martin Landajo, Tomas Leonardi, Juan Pablo Orlandi, Bruno Postiglioni, Nicolas Sanchez, Leonardo Senatore and Tomas Vallejos vying for the places. Argentina: 15 Martin Rodriguez, 14 Gonzalo Camacho, 13 Marcelo Bosch, 12 Santiago Fernandez, 11 Horacio Agulla, 10 Juan Martin Hernandez, 9 Nicolas Vergallo, 8 Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe (c), 7 Alvaro Galindo, 6 Julio Farías Cabello, 5 Patricio Albacete, 4 Manuel Carizza, 3 Juan Figallo, 2 Eusebio Guiñazu, 1 Rodrigo Roncero.
