Warning imminent after peeling problems against Argentina

England are set to be warned by Rugby World Cup organisers after their shirt numbers began to peel off in the victory over Argentina on Saturday. England could face a potential fine if the white numbers, which were applied by a local company in New Zealand, did not bond properly on the black jerseys. Rugby World Cup Ltd have said they will be looking for assurances from England that there will be no repeat in their second match of the tournament against Georgia on Sunday. A lack of clear shirt numbers is in breach of the tournament participation agreement. An England spokesman would not confirm whether the team plan to use the same printing firm this week but insists that the problem would be addressed. "Nobody has contacted us yet. They know we will sort it out," he said.
