France have called on Yannick Jauzion to replace injured centre Maxime Mermoz for their Six Nations clash with Ireland next Sunday. Mermoz, who had taken over at inside centre from the veteran Jauzion, was ruled out of the trip to Dublin after injuring his left shoulder in France's 34-21 home victory over Scotland. The injury has forced coach Marc Lièvremont into making yet another change to his back line - the 18th since he took over Les Bleus And he admitted on Sunday that it was unlikely Mermoz would return to full fitness before the end of the tournament. "Once again I will not be able to field the same backs line-up for two successive matches," said Lièvremont. "I think it would be complicated," the coach added of Mermoz chances of staging a recovery in time to feature in the Six Nations. "We're not going to talk about the nature of his injury too much and we'll leave the treatment to his club (Perpignan). He's hurt his left shoulder." Jauzion has amassed 68 international caps, scoring 20 tries, since making his debut in France's 32-23 victory over South Africa in Johannesburg in 2001.
