Hooker poised to make summer switch to France
Huw Bennett is poised to become the latest Wales international to join the exodus to France.
The 28-year-old hooker, who has been capped 51 times, looks set to team up with Lyon in the summer, ending his nine-year stay at the Ospreys.
Lyon had been hoping to convince Bennett to join them immediately to help ease an injury crisis up-front.
However the Top 14 side have now recruited Jody Jenneker as a 'medical joker' from Dijon in the interim.
Bennett will join fellow Wales internationals Gethin Jenkins, Luke Charteris and Aled Brew in making the summer switch to France, while Mike Phillips, James Hook and Lee Byrne are already plying their trade in the Top 14.
