Northampton flanker Calum Clark has been banned for three weeks after pleading guilty to striking Worcester's Donncha O'Callaghan with his elbow.

The former Leeds forward, who was involved in the incident in the first half of the Saints' 18-17 Premiership win over Worcester last Saturday, is free to play again on December 13.

The Rugby Football Union disciplinary panel said in a statement: "The panel found this was not a premeditated act but an intentional strike to the head of an opponent that merited a mid-range entry point of three weeks.
