Premiership duo in hot water
Aisea Havili and Dan Ward-Smith have been cited for New Year's Day incidents.
Two Premiership players could be facing the repercussions of their New Year's Day exploits, after Aisea Havili and Dan Ward-Smith were cited for dangerous tackles.
Havili's indiscretion allegedly occurred in Worcester Warriors' 21-15 defeat to Newcastle Falcons, when the speedy winger appeared to perform an illegal tackle on fly half Dave Walder.
Bristol man Ward-Smith has been accused of a similar offence, after a coming-together with Northampton Saints' Daniel Browne.
If found guilty, the duo could face up to six months out of action, although the more likely punishment would be in the region of six weeks.
Havili is set to discover his fate on Monday, whilst number eight Ward-Smith will attend a hearing on January 17.
