Saints skipper eager to make amends against Exeter

Northampton Saints captain Lee Dickson has called for a response from his team-mates in the wake of their 35-21 defeat to Leicester. Saints still have the chance for a third consecutive Aviva Premiership semi-final appearance despite the loss to the high-flying Tigers. Northampton's future remains in their own hands and Dickson wants the squad to be back to their best in Sunday's trip to fourth-placed Exeter.

Disappointed

"We're bitterly disappointed with how we played but fortunately it remains in our own hands now," he told the club's official website. "We've got to go down to Exeter against a good team and really front up. We'll make sure that next week will be a completely different story. "We'll make sure we put right the things that didn't go well and really put on a show for the fans that come down to Exeter with us. "Any player at this club wants to win things and wants to be in that semi-final. Nothing else is acceptable and now it's up to us to get a win next weekend and then beat Worcester."
