England Under-20s fly-half agrees three-year deal with Sale
Sale Sharks have bolstered their squad for the 2010/11 season with the signing of England Under-20s fly-half Rob Miller.
The 20-year-old, who can also play in the centres, will arrive at the Sharks on a three-year deal from Newcastle Falcons having previously played for Aspatria.
And Sharks director of rugby Kingsley Jones believes Miller will provide competition to Charlie Hodgson for the No.10 jersey.
Jones said: "Rob signing for us is excellent news for the club.
"He hails from Cumbria and has been a regular in the Falcons matchday 23 this season.
"He was man of the match in Falcons game against Leicester Tigers earlier in the season.
"Rob will be a great understudy to Charlie Hodgson. He has all the skills we need... he is a great defender and an excellent goal kicker."
