Knights confirm departure of talented prop

Doncaster Knights have confirmed Dan Frazier has agreed a deal to move to Newcastle. The 22-year-old prop arrived at Castle Park at the start of the season from Harlequins, having previously had spells at Rosslyn Park and Esher. However he has now accepted an offer to further his career at the Falcons. Frazier is one of six players who the Knights have announced would be leaving the club following the end of the Championship play-off campaign. Neil Cochrane has turned down the offer of a new deal, Chris Briers has retired, while Ed Jackson, Tom Doughty and Andy Gates have been released. Michael Cusack (Glasgow), Steve McColl (Leeds), Tristan Roberts and Matty Williams (both Bristol) had all previously confirmed their decisions to leave at the end of the season. The Knights are still holding talks with Andy Wright, PJ Gidlow, Steve Lawrie, Lewis Thiede and Nathan Jones, though, while Ollie Goss, Colin Quigley, Zack Farivarz, and Latu Makaafi have all been offered new deals. Steve Boden, Stuart Corsar, Matt Challinor, Andy Brown and Dougie Flockhart have already put pen to paper on new contracts - following Andy Boyde, Chris Hallam, Glen Kenworthy and Dom Parsons in committing to the club.
