Harlequins full back Aaron Morris is to appear before an RFU disciplinary panel after being charged with tackling Leicester winger Adam Thompstone in the air.
The incident occurred on Friday, during the second half of Quins' 27-18 loss to the Tigers, when Morris clattered into Thompstone as he leapt to claim a well-judged cross-field kick from Freddie Burns.
Morris was yellow carded and referee Dean Richards awarded a penalty try which Burns converted to give Leicester a 17-13 lead.
Now Morris will appear before a Rugby Football Union (RFU) disciplinary panel on Wednesday evening.
"Aaron Morris of Harlequins RFC will appear before an RFU Disciplinary panel charged with tackling the jumper in the air," read an RFU statement.
"The full-back tackled Adam Thompstone of Leicester Tigers in the air during the second half of the Aviva Premiership match on Friday 24 February and was subsequently cited by the citing commissioner.
"Morris will appear before a three-person RFU Disciplinary panel chaired by Philip Evans QC in London on Wednesday, March 1."
