Worcester have signed Georgia's World Cup hooker Jaba Bregvadze from Toulouse.

Bregvadze has spent the past three seasons with the Top 14 side and was part of the Georgia side that finished third in their World Cup pool, securing automatic qualification for 2019.

The 27-year-old, who has 32 international caps, will join up with the Warriors ahead of this weekend's Premiership game against Gloucester.

"Both myself and my family are very excited about the move to Worcester," he told the club's website. "Having played in the Top 14 for a number of years, I'm keen to test and prove myself in the Aviva Premiership against some of the very best teams in Europe.

"Dean Ryan and the rest of the Warriors coaching staff are really building something here and I can't wait to get started and play a big part in it."

Ryan said: "Jaba is an experienced international who will add strength and depth to our front-row.

"We have been really impressed by his performances at the Rugby World Cup and are excited to be able to add him to our squad.
