Worcester prop Nick Schonert shows horrific injury after Saracens game

Worcester Warriors' Nick Schonert suffered a horrific facial injury during the club's 48-18 defeat to Saracens at Twickenham on Saturday.

But the South African tighthead prop did not blame Sarries flanker Maro Itoje - whose studs were responsible- for the sickening injury.

In his first tweet on Saturday, the 24-year-old wrote: "Check them studs mate!""

But on Sunday, he posted a second picture with the wound stitched up.

He wrote: "All cleaned up!! Was just unlucky but I know it wasn't intentional. Was such a privilege to play at Twickenham."
