Worcester Warriors flanker Carl Kirwan has committed his future to the club by agreeing a new contract.
The 25-year-old former London Welsh man signed for Worcester in 2015 and has become a regular member of the first-team squad, having made his Premiership debut for the club in February last year.
The Warriors are one place off the bottom of the table but Kirwan is hoping they can climb the standings over the second half of the season.
"I've really enjoyed the last two seasons at Sixways, as part of what is an exciting squad and a great bunch of lads," he told the Worcester website.
"The club is moving in the right direction and I want to help us try and progress as a team and work our way up the Premiership table."
Head coach Carl Hogg added: "We're delighted Carl has signed a new deal.
"He shows tremendous professionalism and, despite not being a regular in the side when he first arrived at Sixways, Carl used the resources around him to develop and ultimately earned his place in the first-team.
"He has a fantastic work-rate and we're looking forward to helping him try and reach the top of his game in the coming seasons."
