Gloucester's versatile back Henry Purdy has agreed a new deal with the club, beginning from the 2017/18 season.
Purdy joined the Cherry and Whites from Leicester Tigers in the summer of 2014 and has gone on to become a key member of the squad with 45 first-team appearances to date.
The Oxford-born 22-year-old started this season on the left wing but he has also been deployed at outside centre.
Director of rugby David Humphreys said: "Henry has gone from strength to strength in a Gloucester shirt, and has been an important part of the squad in the past few seasons. We are excited to keep him at the club and contribute to our future.
"Henry has displayed a real maturity in his performances, and he is part of a really exciting group of young players that will hopefully have a big future in Cherry and White."
Purdy added: "I've loved every second of my time at the club so the decision to agree the new deal was an easy one, definitely.
"I've made some great friends at the club, and I am really excited to continue making some great memories and help to fulfil our potential."
