Gloucester have confirmed that prop Nick Wood will miss the rest of the season.
The England Saxons loosehead ruptured his left pectoral muscle against the Leicester Tigers - and had surgery on Tuesday to repair the damage.
Wood had been key to Gloucester's push for the Aviva Premiership play-offs, with the 29-year-old making 24 appearances this season.
However he is now facing at least three months on the sidelines - with Wood targeting a return for pre-season training.
