Versatile forward returns from Bedford
Talented forward Jonathan Fisher has returned to London Irish after spending last season at Bedford Blues.
The 23-year-old came through the London Irish academy, going on to make his first-team debut against the Ospreys in 2007.
However the England Sevens international, who can cover lock, flanker or No.8, dropped down to the RFU Championship in 2011 in a bid to revive his career.
And having played a key role in Bedford's charge into the play-off semi-finals, Fisher has now landed a two-year deal with the Exiles.
Chance
London Irish director of rugby Brian Smith told the club's official site: "Jon is a player I have worked with before and he possesses a huge amount of potential which has been on show throughout the last season at Bedford Blues. He deserves the chance to be back and I know he will continue to work as hard as ever."
Fisher is delighted to have been given a chance to prove himself back at the Exiles.
Fisher said: "I am thrilled to be joining London Irish again. The club has played a huge role in my rugby development over the last seven years and I want to return and repay that faith.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my season at Bedford Blues and would like to thank the club and its supporters for everything they have done for me over the last season.
"However the chance to move back to London Irish was too difficult to turn down and I am delighted to be returning."
