Wasps have signed Maori All Blacks winger Ambrose Curtis and second row Charlie Matthews from Premiership rivals Harlequins.

Curtis will join ahead of the 2018/19 season from New Zealand side Manawatu.

The 26-year-old made four appearances for New Zealand U20s and more recently has featured for the Maori All Blacks and New Zealand sevens, where he won Rookie of the Year in 2014.

Wasps director of rugby Dai Young said: "We continually seek to strengthen our squad, and we believe Ambrose's signing does exactly that.

"He has done well in New Zealand's domestic competition and also for the Maori All Blacks.

"He will bring added physical presence to our back-line and I'm sure will offer plenty to the squad."
