Exeter Chiefs fly-half Ryan Davis could be poised for a summer switch to Aviva Premiership rivals Wasps.

Fly-half lined up as a replacement for Walder

Exeter Chiefs fly-half Ryan Davis could be poised for a summer switch to Aviva Premiership rivals Wasps. Davis, 25, has only been at Sandy Park for a season after being released by Bath. However the former England Under-21s international has reportedly been lined up by Wasps as a replacement for Dave Walder. Walder, himself, is believed to have turned down an offer to extend his stay at Adams Park to move to Japan. Davis has often played second fiddle to Gareth Steenson, despite scoring 131 points from 14 appearances for the Chiefs.
