Stalwart prop signs on for another three years

Long-serving Bath prop David Flatman has committed himself to the club for a further three seasons. The 31-year-old arrived at the Rec from Saracens in 2003 and has since made 132 appearances, as well as winning eight England caps. "I am delighted to have signed for another three seasons at the club I call home," he said. "Bath is a hugely ambitious club and I am excited that I am going to be part of a club that are looking to move things forward, both on and off the field." Head coach Steve Meehan added: "He is a guy who loves playing for Bath and is a great example of a professional sportsman to the squad. He's got a lot more to give and I look forward to seeing him deliver."
