Brumbies and Australia Sevens flanker joins Bristol
Bristol have confirmed the signing of Brumbies flanker and Australia Sevens regular Henry Vanderglas.
Vanderglas has become a regular feature in the Sevens side since his debut in 2008 and scored four tries in guiding Australia to success at the IRB London Sevens two years ago.
The 26-year-old has made seven appearances for Super 15 side Brumbies since his debut in 2009, but now moves to Bristol with boss Liam Middleton delighted to capture the instrumental flanker.
"Henry has strong pedigree," the coach told the club's official website. "I have watched him for several years on the World Sevens Series.

"He combines this international exposure with club rugby experience at Randwick, and Super Rugby experience with the Brumbies.
"Most importantly, his character is well suited to our environment and he will contribute well to our culture."
Canberra-born Vanderglas was a product of the Brumbies academy which has seen the likes of Nathan Charles and Ben Alexander rise to prominence and Bristol's new recruit is excited to take on a new challenge.
"I've always wanted to test myself in a new environment and new culture and I'm pleased Bristol Rugby have given me the opportunity to play in the RFU Championship, which is clearly a very tough competition," he said.
"It's a club that is moving in the right direction and I'm aware that something is building at Bristol which I'd like to be a part of."
