Highlanders sign winger as injury cover
Former Crusaders winger Kade Poki has agreed to join the Highlanders on a short-term deal.
The 22-year-old, who has been playing in the ITM Cup for Tasman, will join the Highlanders until the end of March as cover for the injured Kurt Baker and James Paterson.
Baker has a back injury, while Paterson has been sidelined with a broken leg - and although both could be fit in time for the inaugural Super 15 season, Poki has been brought in as a precaution.
Poki was a member of the Crusaders squad last season however his game time was hampered by a hamstring strain.
