Australia prop damages tendons in his foot

Australia prop Matt Dunning is facing a month on the sidelines after suffering a foot injury. Dunning suffered tendon damage in Western Force's 22-22 draw with the Blues in Perth, And coach Richard Graham admitted the loss of Dunning for the next month would be a blow. "(Dunning's) first start of the season against the Blues showed what type of impact he can have in the game," Graham told The West Australian. "Up against an All Blacks opponent his effort was first class and while we'll miss his experience we have a number of up and coming players ready to take on the challenge of playing in the front row. "We'll wait and see how Matt responds (to treatment) and reassess after we return from South Africa but are hopeful to have him back again in around four weeks." The Force have been plagued by injuries this season, forcing Graham to sign Australia Sevens player Brian Sefanaia on a short-term deal.
