Michael Foley has been appointed as head coach of Western Force, just days after he quit the New South Wales Waratahs.
The 45-year-old takes over from Richard Graham, who stood down from the Super 15 strugglers in April.
The Perth-based club managed just three wins this season and they suffered a mammoth blow last week when captain David Pocock sealed a move to the ACT Brumbies.

"This is an important period for the club and, while we're not looking to start from scratch, we're looking to relaunch the team," Foley said.
"There's no doubt the club has had a few setbacks in recent times but there are many people at the club, both on and off the field, that are very determined to see the Force successful.
"While my expectations are realistic, I'm very excited about this challenge."
Foley, who represented the Wallabies in two World Cups, spent three seasons at the Waratahs, initially as assistant coach before taking over as head coach for the 2012 season.
