Aviva Premiership strugglers Bristol have announced the signings of George Perkins and Ehize Ehizode for next season.

Wing Perkins was part of the England U20s side that won the Six Nations title in 2015. The following season, he played for Bedford Blues in the Championship while on dual-registration with Saracens.

Prior to joining the Saracens Academy, the 21-year-old - whose mother ran for Wales - won the 100m title at the U15 National Schools Championship with a time of 10.86.

Perkins has made only one Premiership appearance, coming off the bench late on against his future team-mates in September.

Lock Ehizode, who is yet to make his Premiership debut, makes the move from the Wasps academy. The 19-year-old has spent this season on loan with National League Two North side Hinckley RFC.

Bristol's acting head coach Mark Tainton said: "It's great to have two more young, hungry and ambitious players joining us.

"George has blistering pace and plenty of experience, having represented England through the age grades and Saracens in the Premiership.

"Ehize is coming to the West Country for a fresh challenge. He is a physical specimen with all the attributes to be a top-quality lock if he continues to work hard and show the right attitude in training."

With four games to go, Bristol are nine points adrift of Worcester Warriors at the foot of the table.
