Ian Foster has urged the All Blacks to "express themselves" in Saturday's third Test decider against the Lions in Auckland.

New Zealand's assistant coach says the feeling in the camp is certainly "not all doom and gloom," despite their narrow defeat in Wellington last weekend.

The All Blacks won the opener in June and, looking ahead to the crucial Eden Park encounter on July 8, Foster stressed: "We've done some really good stuff in the last two weeks but it's pretty clear that there's more in us.

"We've got to focus on that and make sure that in all circumstances - whether it's wet and cold, or windy or whatever - we're still able to express ourselves when we want to.
