Highlights of Glasgow Warriors' 27-24 win over Munster

Glasgow Warriors edged out Munster to win a thrilling mid-table encounter at Kilmarnock's Rugby Park on Friday.

The reigning Pro12 champions, who had won just one of their last seven matches prior to kick-off, came from behind late on to secure a much needed 27-24 bonus point victory against their Irish opponents.

Glasgow began the match in strong fashion, despite having to play on Killie's artificial pitch, with tighthead prop Sila Puafisi crossing over to score twice inside the opening eight minutes.

Duncan Weir converted both tries to briefly hand Glasgow a 14-point lead but Munster hit back through prop Dave Kilcoyne, who went over from short range.

Ian Keatley added the extras and then converted a penalty to cut the hosts' lead to four. Kilcoyne then crossed over for his second try of the match to hand Munster a 17-14 lead heading into the break.

Glasgow began the second half as they had done the first and retook the lead three minutes after the break when Weir went over in the corner for an unconverted try.

Munster were only briefly back to 15 men when prop James Cronin was also handed a yellow ten minutes from time.

Glasgow made no mistake this time round and snatched a late lead through Glenn Bryce who finished off a flowing attacking move for the hosts.

Weir missed the resulting conversion to set up a nervy finish but last year's champions managed to hold on to secure a much-needed bonus point win.
