New Connacht director of rugby Eric Elwood has added former Great Britain RL international Mike Forshaw to his back-room staff. Forshaw, who played for Wigan Warriors, Wakefield Trinity, Bradford Bulls and Warrington Wolves during his career in the 13-a-side code, will take over as defence coach at the Sportsground. The 40-year-old, who had a spell in union with Saracens, makes the switch after working as the strength and conditioning coach at Wigan.
