Jarryd Sage to join Dragons from Kings next month

Dragons have strengthened their midfield options by agreeing a deal to sign Kings centre Jarryd Sage.

The 23-year-old, who is qualified for Wales and has family ties in Newbridge, will complete his move next month and join up with the Dragons squad.

Sage made his Guinness Pro14 debut for the Kings last weekend against Ulster.

He said: "I have continuously followed the Dragons over the years and joining the region was an opportunity I couldn't resist.

"My father is from Wales and being able to join the Dragons is a real privilege for me. I always planned on heading overseas to Wales one day.

"Bernard Jackman is creating a very good culture and I am excited to be able to contribute towards it and learn from everyone involved."
