Beauxis signs for Toulouse

Toulouse have confirmed the signing of France fly-half Lionel Beauxis on a three-year deal.

Toulouse have confirmed the signing of France fly-half Lionel Beauxis on a three-year deal. Toulouse have been in the market for a new No.10 since David Skrela announced his decision to move to Clermont in the summer. Beauxis, who has been capped 15 times, will complete the move at the end of the season after five years at Stade Francais. And Toulouse general manager Guy Noves is delighted with the addition of the 25-year-old to his squad for next season. "He is a player who has shown himself to have huge qualities," said Noves. "I hope our staff will take him through to a higher level still. "He is a very good defender who will progess in his attacking game. And if he progresses then he will get back into the French team."
