Camille Lopez was Bordeaux's hero as the Top 14 strugglers recorded a shock 18-17 win over defending champions Toulouse. Lopez landed all of Bordeaux's points, with the fly-half slotting over five penalties and a drop-goal. It looked like it might not be the home side's night as they failed to take full advantage of Yann David's sin-binning in the sixth minute. However they led 12-9 at the break as Lopez kept the scoreboard ticking over - with Lionel Beauxis landing three penalties for the defending champions. Beauxis made it 12-12 after the break, only for Lopez to move Bordeaux clear once again. With five minutes left, Toulouse wing Yves Donguy scored the only try of the match - but Beauxis failed to add the extras, with Bordeaux holding on for the win.
