Former Scotland international set to leave Clermont
Jason White is weighing up a return to Scotland after confirming he will leave Clermont in the summer.
The former Scotland captain, who has been capped 77 times, moved to the Top 14 in 2009 from Sale and helped Clermont to the title in his first season.
The 33-year-old back-row is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, though, and has confirmed he is now looking for a fresh challenge.
That will alert both his former club Glasgow and Edinburgh - with the Warriors, in particular, still looking for an experienced campaigner to mentor their forwards after missing out on former All Black Chris Masoe.
White, who has not played for his country since 2009, told
L'Equipe: "I've spent three superb years here. I don't know what I will do.
"Maybe I will stay in France, if I get a good offer. Otherwise I will go back home to Scotland."
