Cibray facing six months out
Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal has confirmed the club are searching to bolster their options at scrum-half.
With Fabien Cibray having been ruled out for six months due to a knee injury, Toulon are now looking to sign a medical joker.
Cibray needs surgery after damaging his ligaments in the loss to Brive at the weekend.
"We will almost certainly recruit a medical joker," said club president Mourad Boudjellal.
Meanwhile Boudjellal has rejected speculation that the club could make a move for Fiji winger Rupeni Caucaunibuca, who has had his contract cancelled by Agen.
