Former France forward failed to eye-to-eye with club president
Former France international Sebastien Chabal's is a free agent after having his contract at Racing Metro cancelled.
The Parisians have confirmed Chabal has left "by mutual agreement" after failing to see eye-to-eye with president Jacky Lorenzetti on the "club's playing strategy".
The 34-year-old former Bourgoin and Sale forward had been in talks to extend his stay at Racing - with his current contract due to expire in the summer.
However those discussions broke down - with Chabal, who has been limited to just six appearances in the Top 14 this season due to injury, now free to pursue his career elsewhere.
