Director of rugby escapes the sack
Former France and Italy coach Pierre Berbizier has been given a vote of confidence by the Racing Metro board.
Berbizier's future at the Parisians has looked under threat following a player rebellion in the aftermath of Sebastien Chabal's exit.
However Berbizier has kept his job as director of rugby - although his brother Philippe has left Racing.
As a result former France forwards coach Didier Retiere has joined on a short-term deal, while ex-Fiji captain Simon Raiwalui, who previously played for Racing, has been named as the team's new manager.
Racing president Jacky Lorenzetti said: "I confirm and support more than ever Pierre's presence as Racing's director of rugby.
"He will be backed by two on-the-pitch coaches: Gonzalo Quesada, in charge of team training and the backs; and Didier Retiere who comes in as a consultant in charge of the forwards."
