Marsden and Bolt complete switch from Exeter

Bristol have bolstered their squad with the signings of Sean Marsden and Richard Bolt from Exeter. Marsden, a 30-year-old winger, returns to the club for a third time having first made his debut for Bristol in 1998. Marsden, who can also slot in at full-back, scored 44 tries during six seasons at the Memorial Stadium and has also played for Neath and Glasgow. Scrum-half Bolt will follow Marsden across to Bristol from Sandy Park to provide competition to Robbie Shaw and Sam Alford for the No.9 shirt. The 22-year-old, who has previously played for the Cornish Pirates, has played for England at Under-19s level. Bristol have also completed the resigning of hooker David Blaney, No.8 Dan Montagu, fly-half Ed Barnes and lock Mariano Sambucetti for the coming campaign. However Sam Giddens, England Sevens ace Mathew Turner and Bertrand Bedes have left the club.
