Six players from Barking have followed former head coach Alex Codling in signing for London Scottish.
Six players following former coach to Championship new boys
London Scottish have raided National One rivals Barking for six of their squad.
The Exiles pipped Barking to promotion to the Championship last season, with a 17-13 victory in May clinching the title.
And having already seen Barking head coach Alex Codling opt to make the move to the Richmond Athletic Ground to look after the Scottish forwards, a number of his former squad have now followed.
Props Aaron Liffchak and Alex McKenzie, second row Ben Thomas and back-rowers James Kellard and Anthony Andrews have all signed deals, while scrum-half Matt Heeks returns after a season at Barking.
Scottish head coach Simon Amor told the club's official site: "The arrivals will create a great competition for places, which has to be one of our main aims.

"By bringing quality players such as these guys in, it will strengthen our squad, and provide extra motivation for all of our players to keep performing.
"Great credit has to go to our new forwards coach, Alex Codling. Barking had the stand-out pack in National League One last season, and so the fact that these guys were so keen to continue working with Alex speaks volumes about his coaching ability."
Amor believes Heeks, who has been capped by Scotland at Under-18s, Under-19s and Under-20s levels, will return to the Exiles as a better player.
Amor added: "Matt has progressed immensely following his spell at Barking - we will be getting a fantastic player that has greater experience and understanding in an absolutely vital position on the field, and we are delighted to have him back."
