Doncaster confirm summer departures
Doncaster have confirmed a number of players will be leaving the club in the summer as they continue to rebuild ahead of next season.
The Knights have already revealed a number of players have agreed new deals for the 2012-13 campaign - with Dominic Parsons the latest to commit to the Castle Park club.
However centres Oli Goss, Fred Burdon and PJ Gidlow are among those that will be heading to pastures new.
Goss and Burdon are set to join Leeds Carnegie, while Gidlow is heading to London Scottish.
Michael Noone will be turning out for Rotherham next season - while the departures of David McIlwaine (Bristol), Alex Brown and Jack Yeandle (Exeter Chiefs) had already been announced.
Stuart Corsar is moving to Aberdeen, Michael Bateman is joining Hull Ionians and Lee Audis is sadly retiring following a horrific car accident last November.
Thanks
Steve Boden, Zack Farivarz, Royce Burke-Flynn, Ben Toft, Michael Heaney, Gareth Quinn-McDonogh, Toby Berridge and Latu Makaafi will also be leaving although their destinations have not been confirmed.
Director of rugby Brett Davey told the club's official site: "I would like to thank all the players who are leaving this summer for their efforts over the period of time they have been here and wish them nothing but the best in the future.
"They have all been a credit to the club and it is always sad to see players leave, but it is part of rugby, even if it is disappointing to lose some players we would have liked to have kept.
"Some players have decided to depart, some have been released; but I wish them the best of luck regardless and look forward to playing against some of them in future seasons."
