Brothers make the switch from Macclesfield

Rotherham have bolstered their squad with the signing of highly-rated brothers Charlie and Fergus Mulchrone. Former Ireland Under-20s scrum-half Charlie and ex-Sale utility back Fergus will make the step up from National One outfit Macclesfield. The 23-year-old Charlie was recommended to Titans boss Andre Bester by Sean Dougall, while Fergus, 26, is comfortable at full-back or centre. Bester told the club's official site: "The Mulchrone brothers are two outstanding prospects who have the potential to go a long way within the game. "Fergus was at Sale Sharks but left there to pursue a career, now he's fully focussed on making his name in rugby. "Charlie is a bright and dynamic player who has represented Ireland at U18 and U20 levels and I expect him to stand out in the Championship next season. "Sean Dougall told me about Charlie two years ago and I'm pleased we have managed to recruit someone of his calibre."
