Denman, Davies and Makaafi join Rotherham
Rotherham Titans coach Andre Bester has made a triple raid on the transfer market by recruiting Gareth Denman, Ross Davies and Latu Makaafi for next season.
Denman was released by Leeds at the end of the season, having made 34 appearances since graduating through the club's academy.
However the 21-year-old prop, who was born in Rotherham, has agreed to team up with the Titans.
And he will be joined by fellow front-rower Davies, who has previously had spells at the Worcester, Ospreys, Sale and Neath.
The 28-year-old, a former junior Wales international, will make the step up from Ampthill in National Three London and South East having fallen out of love with the game following his release from the Ospreys.
Tonga No.8 Makaafi will make the relatively short trip from Doncaster after spending the past two seasons with the Knights.
The 30-year, who made his international debut in 2003, has had previous spells at Jersey, Wharfedale, Hull and Bradford and Bingley.
