Leeds Carnegie have raided the Cornish Pirates to sign four of their squad.
David Doherty, James Doherty, Mike Myerscough and Matt Smith have agreed deals to move to the Headingley-based club in the summer.
David Doherty, the leading try scorer for the Pirates this season, is already well-known to the Leeds fans after he started he career at the club.
The winger went on to play for Wasps and Sale before kick-starting his career at Jersey following a serious knee injury. He moved to the Pirates last season and has scored 14 tries in 21 appearances to help the club to the RFU Championship play-off final.
Second row Smith is also a product of the Carnegie academy with the 22-year-old having left to move to UWIC. He spent the past year with the Pirates since graduating and has impressed with a number of powerful performances.
James Doherty will also be returning to Yorkshire with the scrum-half having previously played for Wharfedale before moving to Mennaye, where he has been understudy to Gavin Cattle.
Former Bath and England Under-19s lock Myerscough has been a key figure in the Pirates pack since joining from the Cornish All Blacks three seasons ago.
