Former Scarlets prop Simon Gardiner has been given the chance to kick-start his career at Rotherham Titans.
Gardiner left the Llanelli-based club at the end of the season, with the 22-year-old having been sidelined since suffering a serious knee injury back in November.
Gardiner made 34 appearances for the Scarlets, while he was capped for Wales at Under-20s level.
And Rotherham boss Andre Bester made the move to hand Gardiner a lifeline after the prop caught the eye with his display against the Titans in the British and Irish Cup.
