La Rochelle coach Patrice Colazzo let rip at his players at half-time during Thursday's Challenge Cup loss at Gloucester.
The Top 14 side trailed 22-7 after a poor first-half display at Kingsholm and Colazzo, who had two spells with the Cherry and Whites during his playing career, took a leaf out of Sir Alex Ferguson's book as he gave his players the hairdryer treatment.
Colazzo's rollicking seemed to do the trick as La Rochelle scored within four minutes of the restart through David Raikuna.
It was a false dawn, however, as Gloucester replied with 13 unanswered points to seal a 35-14 bonus-point victory.
