Fiji flanker Dominiko Waqaniburotu has been cited by citing commissioner Douglas Hunter for an alleged act of foul play during the World Cup match between Fiji and England.

Waqaniburotu was penalised for lifting England winger Jonny May above horizontal and lowering him to the ground in Friday's Pool A opener at Twickenham on Friday, which England won 35-11.

The forward avoided a yellow or red card from referee Jaco Peyper but he could face a ban if found guilty with the alleged act contrary to Law 10.4(j).

The hearing will take place at 10am on Monday at Clifford Chance in London and the case will be heard by independent judicial officer, Professor Lorne Crerar of Scotland.
