We can't be bullied says Hogg

Scotland's Allister Hogg believes his team need to match England physically on Saturday.

The 23-year-old, who earlier in the week signed a new contract with Edinburgh Gunners, is confident that the Scotland team have done the necessary groundwork to beat England.

"We are just tweaking bits and bobs at the moment because the heavy work has been done," said Hogg.

"England are a big side. They are relatively predictable - you know what they are going to do but what they do, they do very well.

"They are a powerful side with a lot of big guys and will be running hard and really just trying to bully us to start off with.

"So, defensively, we have really got to be solid and knock them back and not let them get the upper-hand."

The Scots have been boosted by the news that Nathan Hines has returned to the squad following his international exile.

The Perpignan lock quit the team a year ago after becoming disillusioned with the then coach Matt Williams.

However, Frank Hadden has persistently reiterated that the door is still open to the big number eight, and Hines is set to start on the bench against England.
