England Under-21 fly-half Ryan Lamb has signed a new one-year deal with Gloucester.

The 19-year-old, who signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2004, has renewed his commitment to his home town club despite not playing for the first-team yet this season.

Coach Dean Ryan (pictured) said: "Ryan is one of the most naturally gifted footballers in the squad and we want to continue his development.

"He has the potential to become a Premiership player and he is the sort of individual we want at this club going forward.

"We know he offers us a great deal as a footballer and I am delighted he has pledged his future to us."
