Former Gloucester centre Terry Fanolua has agreed to join French club Brive.
Fanolua - who made more Premiership appearances for the Cherry and Whites than any other player - was allowed to leave Kingsholm last month with one year remaining on his contract.
Fanolua was at Gloucester for nine years, making more than 200 appearances for the club in all competitions and scoring 38 tries.
The 31-year-old Samoan international said: "I couldn't imagine playing against Gloucester because I put my heart and soul into the club."
The Limousin outfit are currently ninth in the French League and are destined for another crack at the European Challenge Cup next season, a competition they were ironically eliminated from last month by Dean Ryan's side.
