Le Roux set for summer exit

Worcester full back Nicolas Le Roux is set to play his last game at Sixways.

Worcester Warriors have regretfully allowed Nicolas Le Roux to leave the club at the end of the season.

Just days after they revealed that centre Thomas Lombard would return to his native France with Castres, the Warriors have now lost fans' favourite Le Roux.

The French full back is one of the most entertaining players in the Guinness Premiership, and he has formed an attacking back three alongside Aisea Havili and Thinus Delport this season.

However, Le Roux expressed his wish to leave Sixways, and director of rugby John Brain could not stand in his man's way.

"We fully respect Nicolas' decision to leave and wish him well," said Brain.

"However his departure had been anticipated - hence the signing of Lee Best from Bath and the re-signing of Thinus Delport."

Le Roux will play his last match at Sixways on Saturday, against Newcastle Falcons.
